To support and exemplify African-American literature. To discuss the stories and communicate the issues in ways that may help, encourage and strengthen each other. To provide each other with unconditional support on all levels. To bring together women who are bonded through their Faith, first, which is embodied in their beauty, power, strength and confidence. To provide a social outlet that encourages and supports a spiritual bond that only a lack of faith could destroy.
