Treason

Fox News headline Wednesday night said Obama’s Shutdown of the Government. Get the Fuck out here with that bullshit!
I am beyond frustrated with our federal government and I will not get into my issues with Alabama’s politicians. The federal government shutdown, strategically done by the GOP and more specifically, the Tea Party, was supposed to force the Senate into defunding the Affordable Healthcare Act. And people are so ignorant because they support the AHA, but are against Obamacare. Dumbasses don’t have a clue they are the same thing. Not only do we have a bunch of ignorant folks in Congress, they are also governing ignorant people who have no clue or understanding on what this stalemate means. They do know the President is Black and everything is his fault.
The Affordable Healthcare Act is law and it has been upheld by the Supreme Court. We all know that we have three branches of government which insures our democratic process is maintained and no one part of government has too much power. Checks and balances. Once the Supreme Court upheld the law, the only option Congress has is to make amendments to the law for improvements they can’t defund or delay the implementation of the law. And by the way, the law is in effect. So what the fuck are these GOP people doing? I read on FB, “The horse is out of the barn and he ain’t coming back.” They need to give up and fund the government. I am so tired of every issue being a fight there is no compromising between the parties, but the constituent’s voices aren’t being heard. These GOP/Tea Party folks have no alternatives or ways to improve the AHA, but they are still posturing while everyday people aren’t working and now they are worrying about how their bills will be paid. They can’t use certain federal facilities because they are closed. This is a mess, which if the GOP doesn’t concede, we will have a country in demise.
The definition of trea·son
1. the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign.
2. a violation of allegiance to one's sovereign or to one's state.
3. the betrayal of a trust or confidence; breach of faith; treachery.
What the GOP is doing is equivalent to treason because they are purposely trying to destroy this country in an effort to get their way. If they were a foreign country, it would be terrorism. The GOP shutting down the government is going to harm the entire country. The trickledown effect will be felt by all. It is the middle class, which most of us fall into this category, who will be hurt the most. I tell you what, I want their paychecks held. My cousins are either sitting at home or going to work knowing they may not get paid and all of them live paycheck to paycheck.
Other countries are watching us. We look bad, really bad. Some of the memes are scary. They may seem funny initially, but really that shit is scary.
I was born here and I am dismayed by how apathetic I am becoming. My country doesn’t care about me although I have loved the freedom and what it offers. Yet, I am embarrassed and angry with our government. This country is going to be stagnant as long as our President is black. The GOP/Tea Party doesn’t want to accept that the last election spoke volumes and the upcoming elections may show them better than I can tell them. I am also tired of the inability of our government to work together for their constituents. They are all self-serving. Folks, Ted Cruz is dangerous and his disruption is pitiful because he has nothing to back up the changes or alternatives that he can articulate. When your own party is questioning you, something is amiss. And Boehner is ineffective as Speaker of the House and he seems to be really scared of the Tea Party folks. I want this country to grow the hell up! I want the government shut down over. I want Congress to start doing their damn jobs, because this mess they call governing is going to cause some real problems. Seriously, how long do you think folks are going to work for free before shit gets really real? Yeah, we don’t need or want that to happen.
I am sure I am not the only person tired of this mess, but we are going to have to speak up and aggravate our representatives until something happens. For the record, I applaud our President for not conceding he has compromised too much and too often.
United States of America seems like an oxymoron, because we definitely aren’t united on anything.
